SUPPORT FOR ARMAC R/2000I/PF1 AND R/3000I/PF1 UPS

The Armac Rack Series Battery Pack – B/0609/R has been designed to extend the backup time of compatible Rack On-Line PF1 series UPSs. The manufacturer has equipped this product with 6 efficient 9Ah batteries with a total voltage of 72V DC, in order to guarantee stable operation of the most demanding equipment in a 19” Rack cabinet, consuming large amounts of energy, together with a compatible emergency power supply.

NOTE – in the case of connecting the BP B/0609/R module to the R/3000I/PF1 UPS, the maximum limit of these additional Battery Packs is 4 pieces.

The B/0609/R Battery Pack modules are an important support for the Armac Rack On-Line series emergency power supplies. By extending the battery backup time, the module increases the safety of the powered devices, giving the user the opportunity to continue working calmly or save files and turn off all devices.

EASY AND FAST CONNECTION TO THE EMERGENCY POWER SUPPLY

Connecting the module to the emergency power supply is simple and takes only a few seconds. There are two connectors for Battery Packs on the back of the UPS: one for connecting to power supply, and the other to the next Battery Pack module.

NOTE: However, be careful not to connect both battery connectors with one connecting cable, as this will cause a short circuit. In addition, when connecting the Battery Pack, make sure that the total battery voltage in the UPS and the Battery Pack is the same.

MULTIPLE INSTALLATION POSSIBILITIES AND HELPFUL MOUNTING ACCESSORIES

The device can be mounted in a 19” Rack in two ways: using only the mounting ears (included with the product) or with the additional use of the separately sold Armac mounting rail set – R/0019, and this option is recommended due to better stability and safety of the Battery Pack.

The BP set also includes special stands that allow the device to be installed vertically, outside the Rack. If we want to set up the UPS and more than one Battery Pack module in this way, we have such an option, thanks to the leg extension elements. In addition to mounting ears for 19” rack cabinets, you will also find a supply of M6 screws and cage nuts. Both products are made of a metal alloy, which guarantees their durability. There are no bent products here, which instead of helping, make it difficult to install rails inside the server cabinet.

POSSIBILITY OF STACKING PRODUCTS

Importantly, in the case of Armac emergency power supplies, the possibility of extending the backup time does not end with one Battery Pack. The device allows for stacking several BP modules, i.e. connecting another module to the first one.
