SOLID CONSTRUCTION
The R/0019 mounting rail kit has been designed for stable installation of UPS power supplies and BP modules in a 19″ rack cabinet. Professionally used emergency power devices are heavy, so this accessory must be able to support equipment weighing over 30 kg.
The maximum load capacity of these metal rails is 40 kg.
RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION METHOD FOR UPS, RACK SERIES BATTERY PACK MODULES IN 19″ SERVER CABINETS
ARMAC gives users complete freedom when it comes to the method of installing emergency power equipment in a 19″ rack cabinet. This can be done using only the mounting ears (included with each UPS / BP Rack series), or by additionally purchasing this set of mounting rails. Why is it worth doing this? The mounting ears provide the load capacity of the emergency power equipment only at the front. The weight of such devices (especially if they are high-power models with a number of efficient batteries inside) will cause the UPS or BP modules to be relatively unstable. Such a situation, combined with the movement of the 19″ Rack itself, can lead to the loosening of this heavy equipment, which may result in damage to the UPS, BP modules, other equipment, or the 19″ Rack itself. The product – R/0019 effectively eliminates such an unfortunate eventuality. When the emergency power supply equipment is inserted and locked on the mounting rails, it is evenly and stably supported along its entire length, not just at the front! Do not allow the equipment to loosen inside the 19″ Rack and ensure the safety of the equipment that watches over the operation of your equipment during power outages.
SIMPLICITY OF MOUNTING IN 19″ RACKS
The R/0019 mounting rail kit also makes it easier to install heavy emergency power solutions inside 19″ server racks. The mounting accessory itself is installed before inserting the UPS or BP module. Once the rails are attached using mounting screws and M6 installation baskets, we can move on to installing the emergency power products themselves, lifting them to the appropriate height and inserting them into the rails. After pushing the equipment into the server rack, we lock the device in place by inserting the mounting baskets into the vertical mounting rails of the rack and tightening the (previously installed) mounting ears to the rack with screws. The product not only offers a much higher level of security for our rack equipment, it also facilitates the installation of heavy UPS or Battery Pack battery modules.
HELPFUL MOUNTING ACCESSORIES INCLUDED
In the package, apart from a pair of installation rails for 19″ rack cabinets, we will also find a supply of helpful installation accessories – M6 screws and cage nuts. Both products are made of a metal alloy, which guarantees their durability. There is no talk of bent products here, which instead of helping, make it difficult to install the rails inside the server cabinet.
