UPS RACK R/1000I/PF1 ON-LINE
The Armac R/1000I/PF1 UPS from the Rack On-line series has been designed for demanding users who, in the event of a power outage, want to safely maintain the operation of equipment in a 19” Rack cabinet (and not only), consuming its considerable energy reserves.
Suspension of work, failure of devices in the server room can cause not only serious financial losses, but also the loss of important data. That is why it is worth investing in the UPS R/1000I/PF1, which will prevent many unpleasant effects of a potential overvoltage.
POWER FACTOR
A high power factor (Power Factor), maintained at the level of 1.0, will ensure that almost all power transferred to the device at the input will be given back as output power. The consumption of electricity for the device’s own needs is marginal, which translates into high energy efficiency. As a result, the maximum power of connected devices can be 1000W at apparent power 1000VA.
IMMEDIATE RESPONSE
Suspension of work due to a failure caused by a lack of power can cause serious financial losses and loss of important data. With Armac R/1000I/PF1 you don’t have to worry about it. The device works in continuous mode, which means that in the event of a failure it does not have to switch to battery operation. No waiting time for a reaction is an advantage in the form of reducing the risk of damage to the supported device.
INCREASED BATTERY LIFE
Even greater battery life with the Armac R/1000I/PF1 UPS is possible, thanks to changing the default “Cut-Off” voltage value, which directly reduces the risk of excessive battery discharge, extends its life and eliminates the chance of its damage. Do you expect a longer maintenance time at the expense of battery life? Thanks to the settings available from the LCD panel, you can change the voltage value yourself. What’s more, every 60 days the UPS will perform an automatic battery discharge test, all without the need for any action on the part of the user. This test will not only extend the life of the battery, but also minimize the risk of potential servicing. See how simple it is.
PERFORMANCE YOU CAN COUNT ON
We created the Armac R/1000I/PF1 uninterruptible power supply with the most demanding tasks in mind, such as protecting really powerful computers, workstations or equipment with high energy consumption. The UPS is able to do such heavy work thanks to the use of more efficient 9Ah batteries, with a power factor (Power Factor) of 1.0. What’s more, this model has 8 IEC 320 C13 output sockets, allowing you to protect several devices at the same time.
This series of UPS always provides a full sine wave, it was created for sensitive equipment with high energy consumption. The double conversion function makes the UPS have ideal electrical parameters at the output, it converts all incoming AC current and then supplies the device with current generated by the UPS itself. Transfer time is zero between AC and DC mode.
FULL SECURITY
The correct operation of the emergency power supply is ensured by a specially built-in processor that controls the parameters of the device itself, its correct operation and the power supply of connected devices. The technology used in the UPS also ensures automatic battery charging in Stand-By mode and automatic start-up after the mains power supply returns.
Importantly, each Armac emergency power supply system is equipped with an overload protection module. When the UPS is overloaded during its normal operation, the device will automatically and safely terminate the power supply of the devices connected to it. This solution increases the safety and comfort of using Armac emergency power supplies.
IDEAL FOR SENSITIVE EQUIPMENT
Due to the nature of its operation (full sine wave when operating in battery mode), the power supply can be used with devices with an electric motor or heater, e.g. laser printers, scanners, garage and driveway gates, electric roller shutters, central heating furnaces. You also do not have to invest in expensive differential circuit breakers. This model can easily work with a breaker up to 30 mA.
CONVENIENCE OF MONITORING AND EASY TRANSPORT
Connect the UPS to your computer (USB or RS-232) and use the PowerManager II software, which will allow you not only to issue commands, but also monitor the operation of the device. Its simple interface will make it easy for even less advanced users to handle the tool.
Do you want to transport the device from one place to another? From now on, it is possible. All larger electrical components such as capacitors or coils have been additionally reinforced with an additional layer of glue between them and the PCB laminate. This solution increases reliability and safety, making moving the device from one place to another even easier and safer.
MANY INSTALLATION POSSIBILITIES AND HELPFUL MOUNTING ACCESSORIES INCLUDED
The device can be mounted in a 19” Rack in two ways: using only mounting ears (included with the product) or with the additional use of the Armac mounting rail set – R/0019, and this option is recommended due to better stability and safety of the Battery Pack.
The UPS set also includes special stands that allow the device to be installed vertically, outside the Rack. If we want to set the UPS and more than one Battery Pack module in this way, we have such an option, thanks to the leg extension elements. The package also includes a supply of M6 screws. Both products are made of a metal alloy, which guarantees the durability of the material.
* Software is not included in the set – it should be downloaded from www.armac.pl
** USB cable is not included in the set
