UPS RACK R/2000I/PSW
The Armac R/2000I/PSW UPS from the Rack PSW series has been designed for demanding users who, in the event of a power outage, want to safely maintain the operation of equipment in a 19” Rack cabinet (and not only), consuming its significant energy reserves.
Suspension of work, failure of devices in the server room can cause not only serious financial losses, but also the loss of important data. That is why it is worth investing in the UPS R/2000I/PSW, which will prevent many unpleasant effects of a potential overvoltage.
DEDICATED TO 19″ RACK SERVER CABINETS
The purpose of the emergency power supplies from the Rack PSW series is to ensure the safety of equipment in server rooms, IT labs, etc. Dedicated to 19” Rack server cabinets, the R/2000I/PSW model provides comprehensive protection against overvoltages, while regulating the voltage of the powered device and maintaining its operation in the event of power outages.
WIDER FIELD OF APPLICATION AND GREATER LEVEL OF SECURITY
UPS R/2000I/PSW is a high-quality emergency power supply with Line-Interactive topology. What distinguishes this series of UPS power supplies from traditional models is the full sine wave on the output sockets of the device. For the user, this means the ability to support equipment with an electric motor or heater on the UPS battery, e.g. laser printers, scanners, garage and entrance gates, electric roller shutters, central heating furnaces.
EFFICIENT, FUNCTIONAL SOLUTION
The R/2000I/PSW UPS model is designed for demanding tasks in 19” Rack cabinets, including work with workstations, servers or network/monitoring systems with high energy consumption. To cope with the task, the emergency power supply is equipped with 4 efficient 9Ah batteries with a power factor (Powerfactor) of 0.7 – these are what guarantee the highest backup time on the battery. The UPS has 8 IEC 320 C13 output sockets, allowing protection of several devices at once.
POSSIBILITY OF EXTENDING BACKUP TIME
There are situations in which much more time is needed to ensure the safety of electronic devices during a power failure. Therefore, in order to extend its backup time on the battery, the R/2000I/PSW emergency power supply has been equipped with a socket enabling the connection of additional, dedicated Battery Pack B/0409/R modules. However, it is worth remembering that when connecting the BP, make sure that the total voltage of the UPS battery and the module is the same.
CONVENIENT OPERATION MONITORING SYSTEM
The Armac emergency power supply communicates both via the USB port. This allows you to connect the UPS to a computer and issue commands or monitor the operation of the device using the PowerManager II software – this is a simple and convenient way to ensure proper protection for valuable equipment.
MANY INSTALLATION POSSIBILITIES AND USEFUL MOUNTING ACCESSORIES INCLUDED
The device can be mounted in a 19” Rack in two ways: using only the mounting ears (included with the product) or with the additional use of the Armac mounting rail set – R/0019, and this option is recommended due to the better stability and safety of the Battery Pack.
The UPS set also includes special stands that allow the device to be installed vertically, outside the Rack. If we want to set up the UPS and more than one Battery Pack module in this way, we have such an option, thanks to the leg extension elements. The package also includes a supply of M6 screws and baskets. Both products are made of a metal alloy, which guarantees their durability. There is no talk of bent products here, which instead of helping, make it difficult to install the rails inside the server cabinet.
ARMAC UPS SAFETY – OVERLOAD PROTECTION
Uninterruptible power supply R/2000I/PSW is also suitable for more difficult tasks in the office, server room or IT workshop, such as protection of workstations, servers or network or monitoring systems with high energy consumption. The UPS has as many as 8 IEC 320 C13 output sockets, allowing you to connect many devices to it.
Importantly, each Armac emergency power supply system has been equipped with an overload protection module. When the UPS is overloaded during its normal operation, the device will automatically safely terminate the power supply to the devices connected to it. This solution increases the safety and comfort of using Armac emergency power supplies.
MICROPROCESSOR CONTROL – EFFECTIVE MONITORING OF SENSITIVE DEVICES
The correct operation of the emergency power supply is supervised by a specially built-in processor, which controls the parameters of the device itself, its correct operation and the power supply of connected devices. The technology used in the UPS also ensures automatic battery charging in Stand-By mode and automatic start-up after the power supply returns network.
AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE STABILIZER – AVR
Thanks to the implementation of the Automatic Voltage Regulator function in R/2000I/PSW, classic solutions used in the Line-Interactive topology UPS are improved. This is due to the implementation of a network autotransformer, which continuously regulates the voltage transmitted to devices connected to the UPS. AVR therefore ensures comfort and high efficiency.
